Hey Matt, I'd obviously concur with Ian and Nathan regarding the book as I'm the author. However, I'm conscious of the only negative criticism I've had about it, which is that the title suggests that it's a beginners guide. It's not (yet) and it won't hold your hand and walk you through step by step. Rather, it covers in detail all the elements and components that make up an iRule, good practise and so on. It also serves as a command and event reference. I personally think the mass of included iRule examples are enough to enable most people to teach themselves but clearly not everyone agrees. I do intend to rectify this in the third edition sometime later this year and as usual, it'll be a free update on Kindle.
