OK, a few suggestions;
1) Apply the default HTTP and HTTP compression profiles to the VS (it's configured as a standard VS right?)
2) Apply the lan_optimized... (can't remember the full name) protocol profiles to the VS, client and server side
3) If 1) and 2) don't help, run a tcpdump to see if there are any issues: tcpdump -i any -nn -vv -s0 -X host 10.80.97.44 or host 10.80.97.221
4) If you want to analyse the capture in Wireshark or something similar, use this instead and pull the file off the device using SCP: tcpdump -i any -nn -vv -s0 -w /var/tmp/testdump.cap host 10.80.97.44 or host 10.80.97.221
