If you upgrade to BIG-IQ 4.6 (or later) there is an option at BIG-IP discovery to Ignore the framework check. It was added for this exact situation.

    Hi Kyle, On version 4.5, we have an option if you want to check or uncheck the framework update. that's your point to ignore the check? we need also to see the inventory of the discover device. thanks! Goldz

    In 4.6, a special "ignore framework check" option was added. The problem is, BIG-IQ always believed the guest needs a framework update, even if it does not need it. In 4.5, you should be able to check the update framework box in the discovery job and it should complete. It will just push the framework again.
