Can't crawl using Sharepoint Search or Fast Search

The search request was unable to connect to the Search Service.

 

 

Sounds like the query search service application is not configured correctly. I am studying the crawling issue; did that start after you configured the alternate access mappings for SSL offload?

Not sure, because, I not able to get anything from the search results.

If you are getting the message that you can't connect to the Search Service, you will never get search results. You need to confirm that SharePoint can connect to that service before any more troubleshooting can be done. I recommend opening a support case with Microsoft if that is not working correctly.
