    Phipse,

    Have you tried using string map,

    when HTTP_REQUEST {
   if { [string tolower [HTTP::uri]] starts_with "/ucit" } {
      HTTP::uri [string map {"/ucit/" "/services/"} [HTTP::uri]]
      pool pool_Node4RP_Reg
   } else {
   pool pool_RTS_4400
   }
}

Have you tried using string map,
