Does this means i can't use the failover ethernet port for anything and should use SFP port for network failover?
hardware serial failover is not supported in viprion platform. you have to use network failover.
when configuring network failover, it is the best practice to use both tmm and mgmt ports.

- Jose_Peter_2424NimbostratusThanks, but i'm not clear if the failover ports can be used for network failover. Can you please clarify that?

Hi Jose,
You would use the management port and a TMM port for network failover. The failover port you see physically marked on a blade is not to be used for anything. Pretend it does not exist.
