Microsoft Dynamics 2015/2016 iApp template

Problem this snippet solves:

You can use this F5 contributed, release candidate iApp template to configure availability, encryption, security, proxy authentication, and remote access for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 and 2016 deployments. This template will configure BIG-IP LTM, APM, AAM, and AFM for Dynamics CRM 2016/2015.

    Thanks Joe! I notice that Cookie persistence isn't presented as an option when asked which profile do you want to use, even though the deployment guide recommends cookie. Cheers Simon

    Hi Simon, Did you select Advanced from the "Which configuration mode do you want to use?" question? When you select Advanced, the question "Which persistence profile do you want to use?" appears with the default answer "Use Cookie Persistence (recommended)"

    Is there an option to select a custom access profile? In the same way the Sharepoint iApp does?

    Simon, Yes that is an option in this template. Under the ASM section when you select the initial question you can either keep it as no for default, yes create new and then also if there is any ltm policies with an asm control they will show up in that question as a list of choices and you can select. if you do the iApp will then attach that profile to the correct virtual servers. Does that clarify it for you?

    Simon, My apologies.. I read your question to fast :) For APM we do not allow to select a custom APM policy at this time. We will look into adding that as an RFE in the future. thanks...

    The monitor that is created when using non-IDF deployment does not have a receive string automatically populated.

    Hello, I'm trying to use the template to deploy a non-Internet facing system. When I apply the answers to create the application I get an error: 01070734:3:Configuration error in object (authdomain0) sso config (/Common/my_app.app/my_app_) cannot be found. How do I resolve this?

    Hello Dan, it appears you have discovered a bug. If you set the question 'What FQDNs will clients use to access the servers?' to just a single entry this will not occur, i will update once a fix has been identified and implemented.
