Real Attack Stories: Bank Gets DDoS Attacked
Our F5 Silverline Security Operations Center (SOC) keeps customers safe every day. One of our customers (a financial institution) got attacked with a Distributed Denial of Service attack, and our Silverline SOC saved the day. This attack was highly distributed and each attacking host sent very few attack requests against the financial institution. But, because there were so many attacking hosts, the net effect against the financial institution was that their website was going down.
