Need assistance to write a redirect rule based on the request coming from

Hi DevCetral Team,

 

 

 

 

We had a strange situation where we need to perform redirect to a different url, leme explain why it is strange.

 

 

 

 

 

User connects to www.xxx.com should redirect to www.yyy.com ( This can be done using a simple irule which I am aware of)

 

 

 

User clicks login in www.yyy.com which again redirects to www.xxx.com

 

 

 

Sounds simple but as we had already setup redirect from www.xxx.com to www.yyy.com from the above condition it will again get back to www.yyy.com forming a multiple redirects which it should not happen.

 

 

 

So, we need an irule which can suggest if the request is coming from www.yyy.com , www.xxx.com should not redirect.

 

 

 

Can you please suggest this condition not to redirect if the request is coming from www.yyy.com

 

 

 

We are using BIG-IP 10.1.0 Build 3341.0 Final .
