  • Here's a couple of articles. I'd recommend following up with support as well.

The ideal situation would be to leverage the IPv6 Gateway Module but the above articles might give you some options.

  • I believe in v10, all licenses include the IPv6 gateway feature. If you don't have the IPv6 gateway feature now in v9, you could confirm this with your account manager and then reactivate your license and upgrade to get it.

Does indeed look that way for 10.x. I also checked one of our 9.4.6 boxes licensed 01/2009, and it has it too.
  • I am also interested in the IPv6 configuration. We are about to introduce IPv6, so that both IPv4 and IPv6 will co-exist. The thing is our application will need to learn the source IP addresses from the field, and sometimes connect to the client in the field using its WAN IP address. The application will still need to support IPv4.

Could you please share some information how the IPv6 gateway work? Also which approach would you recommend for the configuration: using the IPv6 gateway to translate the IPv6 to IPv4? in that case, since IPv6 has more address space, is it possible to miss some IPv6 after the translation? Also, if we take the approach of creating a tunnel, is there any version limitation?

One last but not the least question, do we need the GTM and LTM for that?

    Thanks,
