auto-sync timing

hi guys,

had deployed v11.1 on 2x 6900 configured auto-sync for the sync-only device group.

maunal sync is working fine, just a query.

what is the interval time that need to wait from a config change to the auto-sync kick in?

appreciate any help given :D

cheers

  • Hi Henry,

I'd guess that the sync would be triggered any time a config change is made. What are you seeing?

  • i have configure it as follow

i have 2 device group configured.

1 group sync-only with auto sync enabled

    1 group sync-failover

manual sync is ok no issue. however when i do any changes, i check the status for sync-only group it says 2 device are consistent but yet the changes i made hasn't been sync over and the top left status is still pending changes.

    cheers
  • I am seeing same issue on 11.2.1 guest setup in active active HA . Anyone come up with an answer for this issue.

    Sync-Only

A Sync-Only device group contains devices that synchronize configuration data, such as policy data, but do not synchronize failover objects. A maximum of 32 devices is supported in a Sync-Only device group.Manual Chapter: Understanding Device Groups
