Load balancing methods

Hi,

I don't know if this is the right forum, so in case it's wrong please direct me to the right place.

I have a customer with a 3900 and some Sharepoint servers behind - configured and installed by a third party.

When the Sharepoint services was installed and put into production, the 3900 was configured by a former colleague, who had to make a lot of changes to the configuration after the iApp was run.

The users have complained since day one, that the Sharepoint services is very slow, and the third party company have asked me to change the load balancing method, because they have experienced similar behavior before on Netscaler loadbalancers.

On Netscale loadbalancers they change the load-balancing method to subnet, but I can't seem to find a similar method in the 3900 LTM.

Does anyone know if this is possible or how to achieve a similar functionality?

  • it might help if you find out what loadbalancing method subnet means, if it can be described perhaps the F5 name can be matched.
