An AD query and simple iRule is used to provide single-url OWA access for both on-premise and Office365 Exchange users. An AD query and simple iRule is used to provide single-url OWA access for both on-premise and Office365 Exchange users.

So I have the ad query setup to search all members of a group but he states the irule he inserted in the variable assign portion. How can I import this irule into the variable assign.

thanks in advance

  • Hey Sam,

In addition to Michael's comments, the ADQuery object will query a user's Active Directory attribute. In this case I used the ‘Target Address’ attribute. You could also query the ‘HomeMDB’ attribute which should be empty if the end-user’s mailbox is with O365. If appropriate, I assigned a session variable to use in the iRule which will perform an HTTP redirect. As Michael said, the iRule is associated with the virtual server.
