problem with partition

more information, I have configure sync-only device group with the partition (/sync-group-partitions)

yes... Profiles and partitions seem fraught with arcane and sometimes impossible to understand difficulties... I reverted to ALWAYS creating ALL my profiles in common (Unless there's a really really good reason not too. For instance I don't sync my AccessPolicy profiles. but everything else I do).

Oh. And are you sure that the non-common partition default device-group includes a SUBSET of devices in the Common partition default device-group?

 

 

I've also seem unusual problems where the default device group for a partition has been CHANGED AFTER the creation of objects in the partition... It doesn't seem clever enough to go round & fix things up when you do that.

we need to create 1 sync-only device group so we have to create other

 

1 partition (assume partition A) to map with the sync-only device

 

group so when we want to create any obj such as vs, profile, pool,...

 

we have to create in the "A" partition and the result is we can create

 

all obj except connectivity profile! and show the error.

 

 

So if you want to reproduce the issue, you just create a 1 sync-only

 

device group and try create a connectivity profile (in apm module) in

 

a partition that map with the sync-only device group. you will see the error.
