Microsoft SCOM and Syslog

I'd love to set this up as well, so I'm gonna bump this. 8)

If you don't get an answer here, you might try asking your F5 presales engineer. They might have experience, or be able to talk with one of the F5 engineers who works with Microsoft.

Im trying to do this, but I havent got our BigIP's to forward to our syslog server yet.. is there a command to send a test message?

 

 

use "logger" as a command interface to the syslog

Thanks, Looks like thats not working, need to go through and have a look at the firewall rules and work out whats happening where and also what route this address would be taking

added the relevant rules and I'm now seeing the messages hit our syslog server..
