Node reachability in route domains

Hi,

Currently we have 2 nodes added to the routing domain 10, 10.10.1.13%10 & 10.10.1.14%10

We are able to ping 10.10.1.13%10 and 10.10.1.13 both fine from the LB. Wheras we are able to only ping 10.10.1.14 and not 10.10.1.14%10.

  • just to rule out the obvious, the system is active in the vlan connected to that route domain?

  • I'm a bit curious about the self ip and routes configuration. try to use "rdsh 10" and try to ping 10.10.1.14.

i may be lost but you expect node to be reachable via default and non-default (10) route domains, don't you?

  • Is there any command in version 10.2.4 to get inside route domain (like rdsh in version 11.x)

  • SOL13472: Userland applications on a BIG-IP system can now connect to hosts in non-default route domains

  • BIG-IP system cannot connect to hosts in non-default route domain which uses the version prior to 11.1.0
