Assuming you're on a recent version, the bigip.conf is pretty close to that already. Regardless, if you create an SCF file using the 'save /sys config file file_name' command that should give you what you want. See here for more (for v11): http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/400/sol13408.html

What if I'm not on a recent version? I have an old Big-IP running v9.4.6, and I'd love to be able to take bits and pieces of the bigip.conf file (in bigpipe format) and convert to tmsh so they can be read into my much newer v11.4.0. Is there a script to do that conversion? So far I've had to struggle by hand to convert one format to the other.
Thanks,
Wayne
- What_Lies_Bene1CirrostratusI'm not sure there is I'm afraid. However, I assume this happens when an upgrade to v10 occurs so there must be something there; I just don't know what it is.
- wlepkin_98758NimbostratusReading other DevCentral posts, there seems to have been a utility of some sort in at least some releases of v10, here: /usr/libexec/bigpipe daol, that apparently did a conversion from bigpipe to tmsh. But I don't happen to have a v10 to find it or run it on. I wonder if it can be run independently, and if so, perhaps someone can make it available? Thanks!
