Can you be more specific about 'communication that goes through...' please? If you want a packet by packet view or to see within each packet I'd suggest tcpdump but if you just want to log each new connection and the source and destination IP (for instance) an iRule might suit better.
Note that there is no option to do directly this via the logging settings as far as I know.

hello , In logs I was thinking if we could move the option for http or layer 4 to debug will that help . Requirement is to monitor the traffic in case there is any drops .

I wouldn't ever select debug on a production system, you'd no doubt cause a failure in short order. Such options would log far more that just drops. I would have throught using SNMP or sFlow would have been far more appropriate if your looking to log network packet drops and the like.

hello , if anyone can suggest me how irule can help in this will , so logs will be created when the traiic is dropped ? thanks for help
