How to modify ip geolocation database ??

Dears

 

I have 2 F5 1600 with LTM and Link Controller features .In my topology i receive traffic from internet and privates networks (others point of my corporation) .I can see in "analytics - HTTP" several info ,one of this show me transactions from diferents countrys but also show me traffics from private ips withouts descripcions ..only show "Unrecognized" .I want to know if possible modify the source of country database in order to assign to private address to specifics country origins.I supposed the f5 store this database some place in the filesystem .

    good question. I had opened cases by F5 to do that, a while ago (may 2012). It's not possible. Open a case and link it to the following BUGID.. hopefully that will prioritize the implementation 🙂 It was supposed to be implemented in v11.3.. but APM R&D is slow :-/... 

    Bug 387457 - Modify Geolocation information displayed in the reports

    Basically, it's about the possibility to overwrite geolocation APM variables. With that we can achieve what you're asking (and this is what I've raised the RFE bugid for)
