Sharepoint 2013 with Mixed content problem

Hi Everybody

Last week I have a chance to deploy F5 - sharepoint2013.

I follow deployment guide using iApps and http-http is fine but when I tried to do SSL Offload.

But I struck with the "Mixed content" problem.

I tried to use stream profile but source code that response from sharepoint is like this

(it not include host) ....... So I can't use this syntax (@http://@https://@)

Anybody experience this case? How can I fix this?

Thank you in advance

Hi teepan123, do you have your alternate access mappings configured correctly in SharePoint central admin? The external URL should use https:// and then add an internal URL that uses http://.

    thanks

Which version of Firefox are you using, and which element of the page is coming back as http? I just tested on FF 25 & 28 and don't see the problem.

Just to rule out a possibility: does the HTML point to a file on your own site or a different one? Editors often point to files on other sites, which could cause the "mixed content" situation.

  • Hi all,

I have got the same issue with sharepoint 2013.By using chrome developer tools I can see mixed content errors appearing which I think prevents some menus from officewebapps to appear. I tried to use the iapp as well as a standard virtual server with sharepoint as a pool member on port 80.Did you manage to find the solution kridsana ??

    Thanks

  • Hi HG

Sorry for late reply. We have to change Solution about this due to time space. (It's already in PRD)

In my circumstance, Sharepoint engineer has change Alternate Access mapping but it's not working (Not sure if he did it right). Still have mixed content and some feature can't using due to stream profile. (I'm perfectly sure that we can't use stream profile in regular basis)

So We change solution into SSL-Bridging (re-encrypt to SSL in server-side) and it's work fine.
