GTM failover operation

Greetings. I have a quick question. I have 2 Datacenters acting as Active/Active. Each DC has it's own set of LTM's. With in Each DC we have 2 GTM's acting as internal load balancers between the GTM's. We do have a 20GB connection between each DC.

 

If i was to loose 1 GTM do to a hardware or power failure. Will the GTM that's still up still load balance the traffic between both sets of LTM's?

 

These GTM's are synced with each other and are setup for Round robin operation.

    Assuming end user/apps have 2 DNS entries point to the 2 GTMs, and they are able to reach both, I think it's good.

    Hi Mystic .... definitely if one GTM goes down the other will take over and do the job there is no use of the second GTM if it's not doing this job.
