Graphical representation of node/pool member outages.

I've been tasked with creating a visual representation of node and pool outages capture in our LTM logs. Other than mining the data via script and excel charts, is there a more efficient way to represent times and durations of outages and recoveries?

Thanks,

  • The LTM log is really the only place that historical data is stored for up/down status. If you need a visual representation of the current state, using the network map under Local Traffic > Network Map > Show Map will show the current state of the nodes, pools and virtual servers.
  • I'm not sure what kind of visual represenation you're after but ie, SNMP polling could be an option. Check out Zabbix for instance.
