Using LTM's VS in ASM

Question

Hello&nbsp;
I am trying to deploy new ASM policy in my lab for an existing VS. VS is currently used in LTM but when I am trying to add new policy to ASM and I chose "create new policy" and "Existing Virtual Server" LTM's server is not on the list. I've tried creating a VS with "destination address" from the public and private range... VS has one pool and one pool member assigned and is only using HTTP.
Please help.&nbsp;

Hi,&nbsp;
If you say VS "is only using HTTP" you mean that Service Port is set to 80/HTTP? If so I can bet that you did not set HTTP Profile for VS. Only VS with other setting than None for HTTP Profile is displayed when ASM policy is created.
ASM needs HTTP profile to be able to understand HTTP protocol. As ASM is WAF (Layer7), understanding layer 7 (http) protocol is necessary for ASM to be able to protect web application.&nbsp;
