  • Hi Sanjib,

LibreOffice is known for sending lots of PROPFIND method requests (which are used by WebDAV protocol).

This can happen if someone is using LibreOffice to open a URL on your website - for example your webpage might have a link to a MS Word .DOC document. If someone who is using LibreOffice clicks on this document they will open it using LibreOffice and you will see "LibreOffice" as a User-Agent.

Note that similarly MS Office is known for doing the same thing (sending PROPFIND requests uing "Microsoft Office" or "Microsoft Office WebDAV" user-agent).

    Hope this helps,

  • Dharani, what are you trying to protect with ASM? SharePoint? Then using the built-in Application-Ready SharePoint policy template is best.

If it is not Sharepoint I still recommend you create a sample policy (not associated with any Virtual Server) based on SharePoint 2010 and study how it implements the PROPFIND method and the XML profile...

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi All, Can anyone tell me how to handle below mentioned XML / Openoffice request on ASM?

Is there any link or tool to learn how to generate request using Open office?
