To add a few more details to the issue:
I have a pretty vanilla setup with webtop and rdp (non-java) which allows copy and paste of not just text but files from the remote terminal server to the local PC that APM session is initiated from. I need to stop this and dont want to go down the route of changing group policy on the destination network.

Hi,
In the RDP configuration you need to add the following in the "Custom Parameters" field.
disableclipboardredirection:i:1
You can see all the different options available here:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff393699(v=ws.10).aspx
With a more specific refrence to the disable clipboard value here:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff393674(v=ws.10).aspx
Hope this helps,
Seth

This works well for RDP access. However, this doesn't work if the users is a Mac users and has network access to the same resource. Is there a way this might work?
Hi all,
We tested RDP "Custom Parameters"
disableclipboardredirection:i:1
As soon as this parameters is enabled RDP connections to multiple windows systems do not work anymore (e.g. Win8, Win2012). Same behavior with 11.6.0 HF6 and 12.1.1 HF2!
When we disable the parameter RDP is working fine. Any ideas?
Thanks Thrillseeker

I have used below Custom parameter at Remote Desktop APM setting (Access Policy --> Application Access --> Remote Desktop --> Remote Desktop List -- > MyDesktop)
redirectclipboard:i:0
This is tested and working successfully
