ASM cookies blocking the session attribute

when we access from the webpages via load balancer, it was noticed that the session attribute attribute did not pass from one page to another. Please advise can this to due to ASM cookies blocking the session attribute?

Could you elaborate what you mean by session attribute? If I recall correctly, Cookies that do not have an expiry date are called Session cookies, and there is no explicit attribute called "session"
  • This is unlikely - is the session ID set in a cookie or via URL? Worth checking that the cookie is set and being sent to the ASM on the second page. If so then ensure it's being sent on the backend. Do you see any ASM logs or anything else to indicate the issue?

  • Hi Pete, the session attribute is set at the url. the ASM events logs classified serverity as informational with a cookie id. please advise
