Link Controller Links and WideIPs appeared in Offline status while the LC is in standby

I use 2 Link Controllers with BigIP V12.0 HF2

 

I have just set up the ConfSync/failover environment with both of them ...

 

well, no so easy because of lack of lack of precise documents but it finally works

 

The only thing that looks strange to me is the following one :

 

The standby LC always shows its 2 ISP links (in the Link Controller section of the GUI) in Offline status (red) as well as all the WideIPs entries

 

As soon as this standby LC becomes the Active one (by testing the HA Group function for example, o by forcing manually to standby the active unit), all these Offline/Red status change to Available/Green status

 

So, this does not seems a true problem, but I am a bit annoyed by these red status

 

The 2 ISP Links are defined with bigip_link and gateway_icmp health monitors as recommended here : https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/14000/900/sol14977.html?sr=53397263

 

Any idea to know if these red status may be considered as work as design or not ?
