Trunk on LTM interface routing

I am configuring a new subnet with 2 interfaces on my existing LTM's with trunking. I created the trunk interface, vlan, and self ip's for these connections.

My question is- how does the routing work with the new connection trunks, do I create a new static route for this- if for example, my current static route is default 0.0.0.0 goes to gateway of 10.10.10.254.

How would I configure a new route with a new subnet of 11.0.0.0/24 using the External Trunk I just created?

Would the route be destination 11.0.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 resouce would be vlans/tunnel using the External trunk vlan I created?

  • static route with g/w being an IP address from the external vlan of the router/fw used to connect to other networks.
