iRule for uri redirect

Hi everyone,

 

can someone please tell if i can setup a iRule for URI redirect based on the node failure in the Pool.

 

if yes, sample iRule please.

    Do you really want a redirect, or just for the LB to choose another server?

     

    If it's choosing another server all you need to do is to set the Action on service down in the pool settings to "Reject". Then the LB would terminate the connection and force the client to re-connect which forces a new pool decision.

     

    And if you really meant node failure, are you sure you did not mean member failure? These are two different things.
