F5 LTM 1500 running 10.0.1 code, factory reset required prior to disposal

Mark, you should be able to use TMSH as they are v10. Have you seen this askf5 solution? Restoring the BIG-IP configuration to factory default settings (10.x)

You can use the following commands:

tmsh load sys default-config

Hi Nathan, thanks for the information, the URL in your response is the same one I have been looking at. At the top of the document it states that tmsh load sys default-config works for version 10.0.1 however later on it says that command did not come in use until 10.1.0 and to use the clean up instructions below. Good spot, that and sys-reset which was the v9 method, it looks like v10.0.1 has fallen between a crack on this. I still wonder if either method will actually work in practice, against what is said in f5 solution articles. Hannes makes a good point about clearing up the rest.
