For your standard LTM implementation there are 3 primary IP addresses used. The MGMT and an internal and external Self-IP.
Additionally if you plan to use Active/Standby you may want a couple more IP Addresses for floating Self-IPs for those internal and external subnets.
Example with floaters:
LTM0 (Active)
Mgmt:
10.100.0.101/32
Internal
Self-IP - 172.16.1.11
Floater - 172.16.1.13 (same on both)
External
Self-IP - 144.10.1.11
Floater - 144.10.1.13 (same on both)
LTM1 (Standby)
Mgmt:
10.100.0.102/32
Internal
Self-IP - 172.16.1.12
Floater - 172.16.1.13 (same on both)
External
Self-IP - 144.10.1.12
Floater - 144.10.1.13 (same on both)

one mgt ip each unit On each vlan, you have floating IP (shared) and self ip for each unit
Well If you are still having tough time, I'd say go see a tutorial on youtube, search "trevor ltm". He touch bases entirely on setting up. Hope it helps.
