CirrusWe are using solrcloud to index a website and want to load balance it. We created a VS/Pool with members. Any connection via VIP gets a connection reset. We can hit all 3 solr servers individually but not though a virtual server. We are using standard as the type of VS but have tried all the others with no success. Does anyone have solrcloud/zookeeper experience with the f5 ADC? (We're on 12.1.1 HF1 by the way)
Sounds like asymmetric routing where the BIG-IP doesn't stay within the traffic path. Do you have SNAT enabled? Are address translation and port translation enabled?
The VS could also be missing the required SSL profiles if HTTPS is being used.
CirrusWe have another ADC on a different network and it had no issues setting up the VIP. I've passed this issue onto our network team since I don't think it is related to any ADC issues. We cannot see any environment differences between the UA ADC (not working) and the PROD ADC (is working). For now we are stuck using the PROD ADC so any help is appreciated!
