APM timeout

We have users in a couple of remote locations that are being logged out of their APM sessions after a couple of minutes. I'm not sure where to look for timeout issues. The process is that they log into APM, start a webtop that is a web page and then get to work. As far as I know no changes have been made to the F5. Are there log files I can review to see where the users are getting logged off?

  • It could be the inactivity timeout kicking in. There are three timeout settings that can be set in the access policy: inactivity timeout, access policy timeout and maximum session timeout. For more information about these timers see:

     

    Do these users keep the webtop open when working on the other website that is provided through the webtop? The webtop page itself keeps communicating with the BIG-IP while logged in and open, so it doesn't timeout because of the inactivity timeout.
