VIP Session

Hi,

Looking for help with this scenario.

Scenario: VIP has two or more member nodes. Source & destination sessions set to any/any to the VIP. When a session from an application is getting into port 6888, it is allowed via the VIP and get's to one of the member nodes assigned in the VIP. Another session is returning an error as with a different port - 6855, showing as one source from one of the member nodes. All the traffic were set to pass the VIP. Is there an option to find out why is it there is a session being made directly to the member node from the source application server?

Thank you Best Regards

  • If I understand your question correctly you might have to run a tcpdump filtering on the source address to see how that traffic is flowing in. It's probably a good idea to also check the persistence table.
