packet capture on LTM with different partition

Hello All, Coudl you please help me to know how to setup a packet on LTM with multiple partition?

For instance if we have to setup a packet capture on partition x, could you please help me on this ?

If I'm setting up the capture on common partition will it help to collect the data?

Regards, Thiyagu

  • Please note that partitions on the BIG-IP platform are used for administrative seperation only. Route domains however can be used to isolate network traffic. When using tcpdump to capture traffic in a non-default route domain, F5 recommends that you run the tcpdump command from the default route domain (route domain 0), and specify interface 0.0.

For example, the following command captures traffic from all VLANs in all route domains when invoked from the default route domain:

    tcpdump -ni 0.0
