NimbostratusI am going to be updating APM from version 11 to 12.1.3 and currently have the BIP IP Edge Client version 7103 installed on users computers for VPN access. When updating APM to version 12.1.3 i will need to update the Edge Client to version 7133. Is there an auto update option where the Edge Client will see APM is updated and update itself to v7133?
NimbostratusYes, you can configure auto-update in your connectivity profile (enabled by default). But you should have installed the "component installer service" before on the clients, if users haven't administrative rights. Otherwise update will fail.
NimbostratusThanks, Yes component installer service is installed. Do I need to upload v7133 iso file to the box for it to push the install to users systems or is that included in the v12.1.3 packaged iso?
NimbostratusIt should be included in v12.1.3. If you have an HA enviroment you can upgrade your standby box to 12.1.3 and check EdgeClient version on upgraded box before making active.
