F5 Active - Active : APM Usage

Dear Team,

 

We heard, APM is not supported in Active-Active scenario, in versions 13.0.

 

Do we have any alternate solution to overcome this situation and use APM in Active-Active case, like using different version or any other ?

    Hi,

    I already had a similar request and indeed F5 made it clear that it was not supported

    And know activ activ it is not supported in all version:

    You must limit BIG-IP APM configuration objects to traffic-group-1 (Any other deployment may result in undesirable behaviors with the possibility of the apd process exiting and producing a core file)

    You can pass your equipment in standalone (with on service by equipement) but for me it's not the good alternative...

    why do you want to make active assets? to save sessions (licenses)?
