QSFP+ LR transceivers (single mode)

unfortunately, F5 doesn't sell LR QSFP+ transceivers. We need them for single-mode long range connectivity. Anyone successfully use such transceivers from another vendor? If yes, which vendor/model?

 

N.B: I am aware that F5 only supports its own transceivers

    Are you going 40GB to 40GB? I would suggest talking with your switch vendor to see what they say. Brocade, Cisco, and Juniper all make QSFP+ LR4 transceivers, I believe. Its not a very widely adopted standard, so options are limited.
