SharePoint 2013 iApp - Issue with seeing other Users session

Hi

I used the iApp template to install SharePoint 2013 on one of our Viprions. (The template I used is f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010_2013.v1.0.0, Viprion LTM is running BigIP 11.3.0 Build 0114.HF8) When we tested we found that our sessions were swapping, eg when you move around the Sharepoint application, the name at the top right hand side of the browser, changes from mine to one of my colleagues and vice versa. This is quite random. I tried adding SSL persistance but that didn't work.

I checked the docs and found the iApp isn't officially suported on less than 11.4

So I tried the same iApp on one of our dev boxes, a 6900 running 11.4.1 Build 637.0 HF3. Same result.

Has anyone seen this issue before ?

Cheers

Drew

I wonder if it's the OneConnect profile on the VS? If you remove this do you see an improvement?

Hi Drew, which version of Windows Server are you running? Check out the iRule of page 36 of this guide: https://www.f5.com/pdf/deployment-guides/iapp-sharepoint-2010-2013-dg.pdf

If Kerberos auth is enabled and AuthPersistNonNTLM value is set to true, you can see mixed up sessions when using OneConnect. You could also reconfigure the iApp to not use OneConnect, as Nathan mentioned.
