6400 Base memory

Does anyone know what the currently shipping base memory for a 6400 is? Previously, I've always had to purchase an extra 2GB of memory for 6400's to bring them up to 4GB... And when we recently had some 6400's replaced, they also came with 2GB of memory...

However perusing the latest hardware spec sheet (Has a ref HW-BIGIP-ALL 0907 on the back), the 6400 is listed as having 4GB of Base memory...

Does anyone know what the base memory actually should be?

TIA

Hamish.

    Hi Hamish -

New 6400's are currently shipping w/4GB.

RMA replacements will be replaced like for like, so if you purchased your 6400 with 2GB of RAM, any replacement unit will also ship with 2GB. Last I checked, RAM is not field-upgradeable, and if F5 has upgraded a system with additional RAM, it will be reflected in the updated equipment manifesto. (You can check with the support rep to ensure this information is up to date at the time a warranty exchange is required.)
