.config/tmp folder under root directory

I see a folder .config/tmp under the root directory, which has a lot of sub-folders with bigip config files . This results in a filling up the root directory and results in a disk full error when trying to save any changes (either using gui or cli).

This seems to happen only in V11 devices.

Need help in preventing the creation of these tmp directories under root directory and also like to know why this is happening.

    I think you need to open a support case. I suspect that you are seeing config-sync failing, and with the failure, temp directories aren't being cleaned up. This could be a bug, or it could be a problem with your config.
