Convert Cisco CSS config to Big IP 3600

Hi,

is there any way to convert advanced Cisco CSS 11500 configuration to Big IP 3600???

In order to replace the CSS load-balancers and of course to secure the web applications, I am planning to install 2 Big IP devices in HA mode, .

My current CSS config includes redirections, URI based rules, virtual Servers, farm groups, and so on.

thank you.

OM.

Thank you very much for this quick reply.

    2 more questions:

What licences are required in order to get load-balancing features and web application firewall features as well?

I also need to grab web statistics for my clients', does the BIG 3600 support the W3C logging format? (like IIS logs)

    thank you.

  • The LTM and ASM licenses. Logs can be generated in w3c format, example here:

  • On the licensing front...best to reach out to your local account rep to make sure your set with the features you want.
  • Just wanted to say thanks for the css2f5.pl script. We used it today to convert a set of CSS configs to bigip format. It wasn't perfect as we were using it for 10.2 not 9.x, but it saved us a lot of time.
