Timestamp microseconds like format

Hi,

I need to have an "apache" like timestamp format which is microseconds. Bigip provide only seconds format if i'm not mistaken, with the "clock seconds" command. I just need to have it append with "000000" and that would be great. But still i've not found it out yet. Any help would be so much welcome! : ) Aurel

  • Did you try the "clock clicks" command with the -milliseconds and/or -microseconds argument? My memory doesn't serve me in remembering whether we support -microseconds, but I'm fairly sure we support -milliseconds...

  • Hi Joe, Well, you did support millisecs but not for the timestamp, if i'm not mistaken.

I finally just found an easy workaround with simply appending "000000" after my [clock seconds],and it's working great. This works as far as those zeros are not usefull specially but just need to be there.

Thanks a lot anyway for your reply.

  • I finally need to have milliseconds timestamp. After some litte research, it seems that TCL version 8.4.13 do not support such accuracy, but TCL version 8.5 do. So, after checking version of TCL on a VE LAB which is still TCL 8.4.13, i suppose that it's not possible to have neither milli nor microseconds timestamp with my lovely BigIP...
