Deploying iApp templates like f5.http.v1.2.0, how to set iRule order

Hi,

 

It seems that there is no way to set the order of selected iRules when using templates like .

 

Is this because there is no way in the iApp language to create an element that allows for both selecting iRules AND ordering them?

 

Are there plans to change this? In some cases, iRule order is important. I know I can disable Strict Updates and do it manually, but that's a hassle.

    To answer my own question, a workaround would be to specify priority in each individual iRule, so that the order they are attached to the VS doesn't matter anymore.

     

    Of course, using priority you always have the same priority given a set of iRules, and you can't deviate from this for a specific VS. But these cases are much rarer I think.
