changing syslog destination?

We are in the process of setting up a new syslog destination for all of our central logging. When I change the syslog destination on our F5 appliances, they still send logs to the old server.

 

We verified the whole configuration and nowhere does the old server show up. Do we need to restart the appliances for the syslog destination to take effect or can we restart a process on the box to kick start it?

    How did you make the change? Was it via the CLI? Did you remember to tmsh save sys config ?

    We did the change via the GUI. This is happening on multiple appliances but I'll try and run the save and see if it makes a difference.
