One ASM Policy, two HTTP Classes???

Does anyone know of a way to link one ASM security policy to multiple HTTP Classes. We are starting to test moving some of our forward facing web servers to IPv6. Right now what I have done is to create a new HTTP Class and policy for the v6 side and basically exported the policy from v4 side and imported onto the v6 side. I would like to try and avoid having to export and import policy everything there is a policy update. However I can't seem to find a way to link the policy to two different classes. Any help is apprecieated.

  • Hi,

a little bit late...but I don't think, that this is possible. Class and Policy looks like a 1:1 relationship, so you can't map 1 policy to multiple classes.

But virtual server and class is a n:n relationship. So, you only have to map the classes to a second virtual server.
