Thumb drive install - hardware options

Today I had reason to do a clean install of v11.3.0 on a B2100 blade in a Viprion 2400. I created a thumb drive and proceeded to reboot the blade to start the install. At the start of the install you are prompted to choose the hardware model you a installing on, as I scanned down the list I saw B2100 but also a little further down I saw vCMP. I selected B2100 but paused for a minute to consider vCMP as my client intends to install vCMP on the Viprion.

 

 

Did I choose wisely?

 

 

Can anyone tell me what the vCMP option gives you?
