hmmm, you may face a lot of issues. very big jump. What platform you are on? Do you have GTM?

NoctilucentLot of process, module and configuration has added to v12. So, Jumping directly from v10.x to V12.x is very challenging job, in-fact configuration will not load and its not recommendable.
I would advice to go to 10.x to 11.x(

There are few thumb rule.
Take ucs or scf backup
Capture qkview n upload to ihealth.
Open F5 support case if you valid contract.
Reboot device before upgrade...
