Upgrade from version 10.2.3 HF1 to version 12.1.2

Regarding the release note of version 12.1.2 we could face issue when upgrading from version 10.2.3 Did anyone already have this problem? how should i proceed? Thanks in advance for your answers

    hmmm, you may face a lot of issues. very big jump. What platform you are on? Do you have GTM?

     

  • Lot of process, module and configuration has added to v12. So, Jumping directly from v10.x to V12.x is very challenging job, in-fact configuration will not load and its not recommendable.

    I would advice to go to 10.x to 11.x(

    ) version and make stable your application and environment. Once all are ok move to V12.x Version.

      thanks very much for your answer. Since this is an operation i never did before, do you have any migration documentation(procedure ) that i can follow?

      You will find lot of documents in Google n devcentral.

       

      There are few thumb rule.

       

      1. Take ucs or scf backup

         

      2. Capture qkview n upload to ihealth.

         

      3. Open F5 support case if you valid contract.

         

      4. Reboot device before upgrade...
