External antivirus with ICAP compatibility matrix

Hello,

I've been searching for a compatibility matrix between F5 Big IP versions and external antivirus products with ICAP but the only information I've managed to find is that Big IP is using ICAP version 1.0, is that the only requirements that I need to check before implementing a new external antivirus with ICAP ?

We're currently using an old version of Symantec Scan Engine with a Big IP 11.6 and we're planning to upgrade both product to latest version, so the target is Symantec Protection Engine 8.2 with Big IP 16.x, can anyone confirm that both product will be compatible ?
