Hi,
HA group priorities configuration are local and not shared between traffic group members.
only current priority is known by all traffic group members.
if you want to fallback to a preferred member, configure more priority to this one:
example:
member 1 HA group : - trunk 1 (2 interfaces) : priority 40 - trunk 2 (2 interfaces) : priority 40 - pool GW (2 members) : priority 20
member 2 HA group : - trunk 1 (2 interfaces) : priority 40 - trunk 2 (2 interfaces) : priority 40 - pool GW (2 members) : priority 10
when working with HA groups, you can't use "force to standby". it is not working.
But you can force offline the whole device in
Device Management ›› Devices
. when you edit the device, there is the button Force Offline
. I always use it when I insert a new device in Sync-failover to prevent the new device to be active before first config sync.
